In 2017, my colleagues gave me the superlative "most likely to rebrand." They weren't wrong; I love change. I get bored easily and want new problems to solve. New industries to explore, from ad tech to fintech to defense. I enjoy learning the underlying systems and rules.
I also love when someone has a “signature” — a scent, a look, a sign-off. That same year I wrote out what I wanted my signature brand to be.
Writes thank you notes. Carries a black Moleskine journal at all times. Tips well. Sends an end-of-year email. Throws thoughtful parties with interesting people. Few physical belongings but high quality. Spontaneous traveler. Information gatherer. Heated vinyasa yoga. Runner. Physically strong. Regular deep massages. Intense listener with practical advice. Excellent memory. Will move mountains for the people I love. Minimalist style, interesting accent pieces. Early riser. Well-connected. Prefers dry, light red wines or spicy margaritas. Tulips and sunflowers. Calm in crisis. Solid public speaker. Leads by doing. Voracious reader. Vulnerable and insightful writer. Efficient with resources.
That list hasn't changed, because how I approach one thing is how I approach everything. The person operating underneath it all stays consistent, regardless of the next problem that grabs my attention.
